Offer scope

This is a British Council offer, available only to individuals who have purchased the British Council IELTS test.
The offer applies to all IELTS test types, except for the Life Skills.
This offer applies exclusively to the use of the voucher at Java House outlets and cannot be redeemed at any other outlet, retailer or in conjunction with any other promotional service.
The test taker must accept receiving marketing information from the British Council to be eligible for the promotion.
Only registrations made by individual test takers through official British Council channels are eligible. Registrations made through B2B partners are not eligible for this promotion.
Vouchers are valid for redemption across all the Java House outlets countrywide, except Java Landside - JKIA.
The voucher will be issued via SMS to the phone number provided during British Council IELTS test registration.

Eligibility and mechanics

Each week during the campaign period, the first 50 test takers who registered on the online registration system with the British Council will receive a KES. 2,500 Java House voucher.
This offer is limited to one voucher per eligible participant regardless of the number of tests booked during the campaign period.
It is the test taker’s responsibility to ensure that the mobile number and email address provided are accurate and active at the time of registration.

Validity and expiration

This campaign will run from 1 March to 31 March 2026.
Each voucher code is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
Vouchers expire on their specified date, and any unused voucher is forfeited.
The British Council reserves the right to modify or withdraw the offer at any time.
If a test taker cancels the registration and asks for a refund after a voucher has been issued, KES. 2,500 will be deducted in the final settlement.
The British Council reserves the right to verify participant eligibility before issuing the shopping voucher.

Usage rules

The voucher must be used in one visit and cannot be split or carried forward. Any unused balance will be forfeited.
The voucher is valued KES. 2,500 only. Any excess amount must be paid directly to the outlet by the test taker at the time of redemption.
British Council is not responsible for the quality, or availability of the products redeemed with the voucher.

Restrictions

Any attempt to duplicate, sell, or redeem the voucher fraudulently, including redemption beyond the allowed limit, will result in the voucher being voided.
