The British Council in Kenya builds connections, understanding, and trust between people in the UK and Kenya through its work in arts and culture, basic and higher education, English language and administering exams, with an aim of helping young people in Kenya gain skills, confidence, and networks to transform their lives.

Our work in the UK/Kenya Season celebrates creativity and innovation, fostering partnerships and increasing investment in the arts to strengthen cultural ties between the two nations. The British Council provides a platform for showcasing Kenyan talent in the UK and vice versa, promoting global citizenship and deeper cultural understanding. Through these efforts, the British Council continues to support the next generation of leaders and creatives.
